Not every kitchen session ends with something to eat, and Hayley Marie Coppin is the reason why. In a gorgeous rustic kitchen with hanging pots, exposed wooden beams and a well-worn worktop dusted in breadcrumbs, she starts her baking in a white chef's apron, which is, it quickly becomes clear, the only thing she is wearing. There is bread on the board and mischief in her eyes as she leans over the worktop, long blonde hair falling forward, and it is immediately obvious that whatever she is making today, the recipe has absolutely nothing to do with bread.
The apron is decorative at best and Hayley knows it, untying and retying and letting it slip in all the most interesting directions as she moves around the kitchen with a grin that says she has never once followed a recipe in her life. She arches over the worktop, looks back over her shoulder with that devastating expression, and by the time the apron joins the crumbs on the floor she is completely, gloriously bare in that warm rustic space. Oh crumbs indeed.
