Hayley Marie Coppin has somewhere to be tonight, but not yet. She sits at her dressing table in a white bath towel with her hair wrapped up in a second one, applying makeup with the unhurried ease of someone who is very aware that the getting-ready part of the evening has its own audience. The mirror multiplies her, reflecting a close-up of lips and eyes and the artful drape of the towel as she reaches for brushes and leans toward her own reflection, every movement relaxed and quietly deliberate, the description of her set exactly right: this is a tease, and a very good one.
The towel eventually concedes to inevitability, and by the final images Hayley is bare from the waist up, her hair now fully blow-dried into long, honey-blonde waves that fall around her face and shoulders as she leans toward the camera with a half-smile that belongs entirely to the mirror. The warm tones of the room, the wooden furniture, the intimacy of the setting, all of it conspires to make the last frames feel genuinely close and private. She is ready, and the blow dry was absolutely worth watching.
