Hayley Marie Coppin has been shopping, and the only thing she is more excited about than what is in the bags is what she plans to change into the moment she gets home. She strolls the British high street in a pale champagne sundress with delicate broderie anglaise trim and a self-tie bow at the waist, gold strappy flat sandals on her feet, a gold bangle at her wrist, and armfuls of pink and white carrier bags swinging from both hands. She pauses on a black-and-white tiled shop step to check a sandal strap with a grin that says she already knows exactly how the rest of this afternoon is going to go.
Then the black front door of her gorgeous Victorian home swings open, with its stained glass panels and patterned blue hallway tiles, and Hayley is inside and peeling away the shopping trip one layer at a time. The sundress comes untied, the broderie anglaise bow the first thing to give, and she settles on the white vintage bed with the bags forgotten at her feet, slipping into something considerably, magnificently more revealing. She really could not wait. And neither, it turns out, can you.
