The Attic

It started as a perfectly innocent clear-out — but innocence never lasted very long when Hayley Marie Coppin and Candice Collyer were involved. Rummaging through dusty boxes and old trunks beneath the warm amber glow of the attic skylights, the two blondes were all laughter and long hair, Hayley in a casual grey vest and Candice in a fitted brown jacket and cut-off denim shorts, climbing the old wooden ladder and pulling treasure after treasure from the shadows. Then, buried deep in a battered old trunk, they struck gold: a stash of the most gorgeous vintage black lace lingerie, all dark floral corsets and delicate straps, utterly irresistible.

What could they do but try it all on? The attic transformed from a storage room into a private dressing room as Hayley and Candice stripped off their everyday clothes — giggling, posing for each other, holding up lacy pieces and slipping into them with gleeful abandon. The golden light caught every inch as layers came off and lace went on, and then came off too, until both girls were bare-skinned and glowing in the warmth of the afternoon sun, surrounded by vintage frames and old canvases, looking like the most beautiful discovery anyone could make in an attic.
